what to do with my bedroom.?
Okay so i just moved into this beautiful condo.. Problem is the bedroom walls are gold with black trimings..even the ceiling is gold.. yep..
brown * woody * venetian blinds.
I have three pieces of furniture in the bedroom.. My bed.. Black and gold... Yeah.. 1 big dark brown dresser and a dark brown medium size chest of drawers..
My problem is that the room tends to be so dark.. and it lacks life.. i feel like i am in a match box and closing the door just makes it worse..
Oh and i am not the one who painted it.. found it like this and kinda liked it in the begining..
What can i do to give my bedroom some life, excitement , etc.. all the things that a bedroom should have.. and still keep the gold and black trimings..

Easy to make a poster into a canvas.
Buy a sheet of styrofoam at a craft store or any home improvement store.
Cut styrofoam two inches smaller than the poster.
To make the hanger, punch two holes 1/2 inch apart 1 inch from the top in the center,
(where a hanger is on the back of a frame)
thread the ends of a twisty tie (the paper covered wire used to close bread) thru the holes, turn styrofoam over, make a loop and twist the ends together.
Wrap poster to the back of styrofoam like a present and glue (elmers) down the edges, turn over and weight down til dry.
(or you can spray styrofoam with craft adhesive spray and wrap poster to the back)
